Event Horizon 3.0 is the annual flagship astronomy quiz competition organized by DJS Nova, the Astronomy and Astrophysics Club of SVKM’s Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering. The event challenges participants with questions from astronomy, astrophysics, space exploration, and space technology, with this year’s theme being 'Evolution of Space Technology'.

Any college student from any branch currently enrolled in a college or university can participate.

No, participation is completely free.

The quiz is an individual participation event.

Event Horizon 3.0 will be held offline on 30 March 2026 at SVKM’s Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Vile Parle, Mumbai.

Questions may cover areas such as astronomy, astrophysics, space missions, cosmology, space technology, the history of space exploration, and recent discoveries in space science.

The winner and runner-up will receive cash prizes along with certificates, and participation certificates will be provided to all registered participants who attend the event.
